There were very few Funk conversions made. They were made with a 6 cyl. and a 8 cyl. There were more 6's than 8's, but still not all that many in general. Funk theirselves did the conversion. It was a factory authorized program. As far as having to pull against him, I think you better just sit and watch. If your club allows those to be pulled against stock tractors, then they are terribly mistaken. Although that tractor is factory authorized, it is not a factory setup. Meaning it did not come of the assembly line like that. I would think they would have to make him run in a modified class. If they do make you pull together I would hope he runs out of traction or breaks something in the drivetrain unless he adds the beefed up rearend. I would just put it in low and hope for the best.
