So my friend is doing a motor swap in his W4 and hes at the point now where he needs to remove the "horse-shoe" shaped bracket that holds the back of the motor to the cast bell housing. He explained that the bracket has dowel pins into the casting of the bell based on the manual and he cannot get them to let loose. Could there be a "hidden" bolt he's missing? Or has anyone else had this issue as they worked on a W4, if so how did you end up getting the bracket off?
