I have been having problems with my governor on my Super C. I was told that someone had but a 240 governor on my Super C. The problem I think is that it still has the Super C Governor Rod on it that goes from the governor arm to the Carburetor. The parts numbers of the rod are different from a Super C and Farmall 240. The rod on my Super C is about 10 inches long that I believe is to short for the 240 Governor. Can someone tell me the length of the Rod for a Farmall 240 Tractor ? And would the Rod be the same for a Farmall 240 tractor, and a International 240 Utility Tractor ? Also when I installed the missing spring on the Governor Control Rod, the engine rev's wide Open, even with the control lever at idle.
