I know its not the fuel pump since I have fuel up to the carb and the bowl is full now that I made sure the float was not locked. I think it may just be a dirty gas tank now. I pumped some fuel into a glass jar and its nearly as dark as coffee. Does anyone have a good way to clean the gas tank? I have cleaned it out with gas and diesel several times before i put it on but as I see now it is still dirty. I put some of the gas from the tank right in the carb and it wouldn't fire but it did when I put fresh gas in. I know the needle valve was a problem but i'm guessing that the gas tank made the fuel go bad from sitting over a month. So are there any cheaper ways to clean and seal the gas tank than the expensive sealer? Thanks.
