Need info on Super A Battery Box

Hello All,

I need a little explanation about the battery box on our Super A. The original box on the tractor is in very bad shape (and had no cover)and I ordered a new one with a cover. The box and cover came in the mail and the cover is so small it will actually fit right down in the box. The box and cover are marked for a Super A and the cover label says front cover.

Does this cover go over the battery or is it for something else?
