I dragged home a 311 Fast Hitch 3-14 plow a couple weeks ago, with the plan to remove the rear bottom and use it with my 240U. From the 2nd bottom forward, the 211 & 311 are nearly identical.
I had to drop a bottom just to get it light enough to lift off the trailer. Since then I have replaced/tightened a bunch of bolts, and fabricated the 2-bottom brace. It's ready to go.
Yesterday, I got the manual for the 211/311. No mention of the 240, even for the 211 plow. Smallest tractor they list for this plow is a 300.
The 240 has the large fast hitch points, and is rated as a "2-plow" tractor, so it *should* work. Right?
