Super MD and MW clutch

We would have pulled the Super MD home with our ridged tow bar, but it's snowing like heck right now. We could have driven it, but the condition of it's tranny and engine oil is unknown. I have heard of an M & W clutch. My Super MD has it, but still a foot clutch. It sez on it and has a hole with a gear in it. Is this clutch better than the regualr, and what's the difference? Thanks.
