I put my 5 ft mower on an A with much better results. A Cub will handle a 4 ft mower much better. If you buy a used mower make sure you get all the brackets to route the belt, and use the right size (width) belt, I think they take a "B" section belt, which is much heavier than what you find at auto parts stores. A smaller belt seems to work until you start slipping it under load and, belt life suffers as well as mowing quality.
