TB......Yes, I think the carb is the first thing on the agenda. Then I believe I'll look at the valve gap settings. The mag coupling was not removed from the governor shaft. When I reinstalled the mag I found TDC on the flywheel and lined up the mag on #1. The mag slipped in to place with no problems. So I don't think it is a timing problem. It starts to easily for that to be a problem, and no sign of kick back. You may be right about the point gap, I'll check that first thing. Thanx & Adios, Dick B.
