Hi Dick, Sounds like several problems at once. Take a propane bottle and squirt a little propane into the breather. If the engine smooths out the it's a carb problem. If not then it's a firing problem. Come back with the results then we can tell more. I had to clean my carb three times before it finally came clean and I swore each time it was clean the first time!!! Never did see what I was missing but it dooooo run correct now.
