The heavy axles were for units mounting cornpickers, cottonpickers and heavy slow tillage. Not a bad idea for heavy loads on the two point too. The std axles were the same as the Hs. Im gonna get a plow bought this week but will cut it down to 3x14" for this tractor. Should let me run in 3rd gear. Seems like the guys that complain the most about the 60 series had JDs before and did not adapt to the new tractor, instead they lugged the daylights out of it and bitchedd when it broke, they really had trouble with the TA! The other upgrade I am looking at is to shave the head and get the CR up to 8 to 1. Prolly get the hp to 60. kev
