Only someone with a Super C built before they started listing both the chassis and engine s/n's can answer your question by looking at a pre-June 1952 Super C. I really doubt you will find they are the same though as those tractors where they match were meant to have the same numbers and probably took considerable effort at the factory to keep them straight. The Super C was introduced after the models where the s/n's matched and it was probably considered not worth the effort. I like the comment by CNKS about finding a salvage tag from a dead tractor that is in a s/n range which would support the casting codes on your tractor even if it is not exactly correct. Both of my Farmall H's have matching engine and chassis no's. and I know they are correct in both cases - one is a 1951 and the other a 1952, Hal.
