Start with the basics. Check all your cables and connections for corrosion, make certain the ground wire is heavy enough. Take the battery, and if possible the tractor to a shop and have the battery & charging system checked for voltage & amperage. even though the battery may start your truck it may not be strong enough to start the tractor. If everything else checks good you can have the starter checked to see if it is drawing to many amps.
