Paul - Go to a mower shop and ask for a key switch for a magneto-equipped, electric start riding mower or snowblower. It must be a "grounding" type switch - i.e. one that grounds the ignition terminal when in the off position. They're used on Ariens riders, Cub Cadets equipped with Briggs & Stratton engines, cheaper JD mowers and lots of others. It will have 3 terminals labelled Battery, Starter and Ignition (or B, S and I, or similar) - connect each terminal to it's named component. Make sure the switch is mounted to grounded metal or it won't stop the engine when turned off! Bob M...
