Need help with key switch

Tried to wire up the C today and ran into some problems.The key switch had no wires on it and I am a little confused about the conections. My options to hook to the switch are as follows. ST.,Ing.,Acc,Batt.I need to know what goes where. the tractor has a 12v alt. and a magneto.I could get the tractor to turn over but would not start. Have no fire at spark plug at all.Tried to follow Bob M's diagram best I could but the switch in the diagram seems different then what I have with the key switch.Any help at all would be great.
