Mike. Those Corn stalks can be a "blue bi#$c" to deal with. Our SH and Little Genius 2-16 do as good a job plowing as anything we have until we get into corn ground...that and the fact that IH coulda took a hint from JD and put a good comfy well supported bigger seat for my fat azz usually means that when we hit the stalks it's on the JD B or A with the Oliver 2-16 plowmaster which plain old doesn't plug, or the JD 70 with the IH 3-16 500 in tow as it has the high clearance and BIG trash boards so doesn't usually plug! But what fun the SH and Lil Genius is in good clean ground!
