Last fall I bought my first Farmall. I have a Farmall 400 with a torque amplifier and a loader. This past spring I noticed that I seemed to be stuck in 1st gear. For when I shifted into 2nd or 3rd I do not see an increase in speed. However, when I shift into 4th I see an increase but who knows if it is really in 4th. Has anyone ever experienced this before and if so how do I fix it? Is it something a rookie can fix it or do I need to bring it in to get fix? One more question, I also need to have my throttle half way to get a good idle? Is there an adjustment on the throttle that can fix this? Thanks Paul
