If by the "overpressure port" you mean the vent at the radiator cap, you may be filling the radiator too full. When the water gets hot and expands, it will blow out the excess. This is OK and nothing is wrong if the water is still covering the radiator core after it has cooled back down. If the cores are exposed after the water has cooled, you are losing too much water and have some kind of problem, maybe a plugged radiator or a head gasket leak. If everything is operating properly, the water will vent a few times from completely full as you are working the tractor, then will not do it again if you don't add more water.
