I'll try to keep this simple. Neighbor that is a good mechanic offers to help with overhaul on 856 with a D407. Every thing has been going well until we went to bolt the injector back up. Seems that something is causing it to tip down and won't drop into place as it should. Funny thing is we never removed the shaft housing or gear from the front plate, just removed the pump and left every thing else bolted up. Must be missing something. Anyone else ever have this problem?
