I've finally installed a semi-new hydraulic pump on my 450 LP. I have not even run fluid through the hydraulic system, rather I've just made a temporary reservoir to keep the old pump from seizing up, by keeping fluid circulating through it while the engine is running. But now I'm hooking up the whole system, and everything is ready except that my Behlin power steering "motor" is not ready, so I want to go without it for now. My question is, will it cause pressure loss elsewhere in the system if I just route the input hose to the output hose, in place of where the Behlin pump would normally be? Thanks.
