You can get the new rubber bushings for the front pivot point. As for shock I replace it because when the bushing are gone the schock is pretty much shot. I have replaced the spring on a M and 450 with an after market spring. I weigh 230 lbs. and with the new spring the seat only goes down about 1 1/2" when I set on it seams very stiff and won't bottom out.
