That was my next question, which repair manual to buy? I had some fuel line problems and wanted to put a kit in the carb. but it has a 0-653 Carter. My parts man at NAPA talks like parts for this are tough to get. He came up with a needle and seat from a tractor parts store for $65. Little too rich for my blood. I can live with it by turning the fuel off when I let it sit but I would like to get it right. What do you you suggest, change to a different carb or try to get the Carter rebuild kit?
