Now do yourself a big favor and get the owners manual and a copy of the I@T manual and your questions will be answered. Get things back to original as when it left the factory for many yrs of happy tractoring.

Thanks for the welcome!

That was my next question, which repair manual to buy? I had some fuel line problems and wanted to put a kit in the carb. but it has a 0-653 Carter. My parts man at NAPA talks like parts for this are tough to get. He came up with a needle and seat from a tractor parts store for $65. Little too rich for my blood. I can live with it by turning the fuel off when I let it sit but I would like to get it right. What do you you suggest, change to a different carb or try to get the Carter rebuild kit?

I just finished overhaul on Touch control block.
Ended up with extra safety valve piston (20).
Removed the head and checked that safety valve
piston (20) was in place, and it was.
Where could this piston belong?
I also was unable to locate the Thermal relief
valve & screen. (52) & (53). The service manual
indicates near the manifold on the block, but
I never found it.
Any help is appreciated.
