Been a bit busy Rob, just noticed your post 2 pages back.
I have a WD9 with the same split cast rims as your W6, in fact all the IH tractors received this style of wheel assembly when they came to Aus. My WD9 has been fitted with 18.4x32 tyres,instead of the original 13.50x32, and the previous owner fitted a 3" band between the two wheel sections to get the extra width. Wouldn't be real hard for an engineering shop to make something up for you.
Still trying to track down some W6 wheels for you, the bloke I'm after is a truckie and he's a bit hard to get on to.
