As others have said, be careful not to overtighten the bolt. I did that once on our Farmall M and my Dad was not pleased as I recall. If you don't have a new copper or brass washer to hand, you can resurface the old one by rubbing it down with wet and dry paper or even on concrete if you have nothing else. It works very well until you can get a replacement. Be quite sure that no grit remains on the washer before refitting.
