If the steering wheel turns without turning the wheels you can remove the large cap behind the grill and add a washer in there. I did that on my H and the steering went from having nearly 1/2 turn of slop to having almost none. The washer keeps the worm gear from traveling back and forth. You may have to experiment, the first washer I put in mine made the steering too hard to turn so I put in a thinner one and it has been there for 2-1/2 years now. Zach
