In a nutshell, though, you need to identify the "pushrod" that lifts the cultivators, and replace that with a hydraulic cylinder. Sometimes there's room to install the cylinder directly, sometimes not.

You'll probably need to fabricate an anchor point that's attached to the body of the tractor for the cylinder to push off.

You won't need a very large cylinder, or a very long one. If the cultivators lift separately on each side, the ideal situation is TWO cylinders, but you can also rig up some sort of mechanism
