Basically two grades of diesel used Summer and winter blends. #1 and #2 The same as home heating oil. Home heating oil has been exept from rad tax, as has been farm (non-road) use. These are collored with dye to make them detectable in the fuel tank of a vehicle being used on the road illegally. Low sulphur and Ultra low sulphur diesel are going to be the standard due to the use of catylists in the exhaust stream. It also reduces sulphur emissions in the environment, reducing sulphuric acid in rain. Jim
