Gene, with clarification in mind, It was my impression that the F terminal on the Cutout was specifically for those tractors that had no lights. It provided a single charge rate that was adequate for charging the battery, but not with the lights. It was further my understanding that the F terminal on those cutout relays was ignored on tractors equipped with lights. I am sure that F terminal is a resistor to ground. It would seem that with both connected, it would be a higher charge rate than needed on L position. Jim
