Several companies made after market governors. M&W called theirs Add-Power. It had laminated flyweights and spherical rod ends on the linkage. They claimed that their weights were precision calibrated to assure instant response. There is a company in PA that still makes that governor. They get around $400 for it. They used to advertise in Red Power. I have one on a MTA but not really sure if it makes a difference. It would take me awhile to find their address. If you are interested, I will look for it. The Rocket is probably similar.
