I'm changing my story. I went out and measured ground to c/l alxe. I was real surprised to find that my H with narrow rims and 14.9's is only as tall as my M with wide rims, and 14.9's. I see that the the narrow rim makes the tires look goofy but between the two tractors there is not noticeable differences in axle height: 29-3/8 inches. The M does have three wheel weights each side and the H probably has less air pressure. Other radaii I measured on H's were 27 inches for a 12.4 on narrow rims and 26-1/8 for 11.2 on narrow rims. So my tractors are seeing a 12-1/2% increase in speed and decrease in power going from 11.2 to 14.9. 14% still sounds plausible for going to 15.5. I like big tires on wide rims. My two cents' worth.
