Is there suppossed to be a voltage drop between the key and the positive side of coil? Had some wires burn up. Old wire was sending 7.5 volts but tractor would not start. Only starts when 12 volts to coil. Burned up points after a few days. Added resistor to get around 6 volts tractor won't start. By-pass resistor and tractor starts? Stumped and confused, any help?
