another Super M question

Last year I put a new voltage regulator on the Super M and lo and behold it charges!
This year when I started it I'm back where I was, no charge.
Now I want to perform the tests that were in the voltage regulator book, but I lost the little book.

Can somebody (bless you)type out the voltage regulator tests for me?
There were a couple "Touch a wire from this post to that one" type that are the ones I'm looking for, not the whole book. Although a scan of the whole book would be nice for those with scanners.
