I have used a 69 444 in my work for years (I don't own it) It is a good reliable tractor, but any thing that old, sooner or later will need repairs. Things like power steering and live hydraulics make the tractor easier to use. Do they break -- sure! but no more than any other brand.

Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
