Get some diesel in the tranny and drive around for a bit then drain, Mite not hurt to do it twice depending on what it looks like after the first flush. the open hole wont hurt anything as the opening hole for adjusting the clutch pedal clearence is not covered either. I have been using the diesel fuel for yrs when i get a new to me B. I usually need to replace the seals at the front and side of the tranny and also the final drives. That way there are no leaks when i get the new 90-140 lube.
