I believe Wayne is basically on track. I would add that draw filing is done with the file handle in your left hand, and that the file only cuts when being drawn toward you, lifted after the stroke to start a new one. It can remove material very quickly, so be judicious, cleaning not machining. The Dark grey gasket paper for high pressure applications about .020 to.030" thick is a great choice. I would use Copper Coat spray on both sides letting it air dry till almost tack free. Look up the torque spec on that sized bolts in inch pounds and use it. Best of luck, it is not a failure prone spot. Jim
