I saw your eBay bearing about an hour after returning from the dealership ... go figure. *lol*
I had this replaced and running again.
Something is still goofy with the linkage on this though because the adjustments never did look right visually (thread stops). It still won't idle down but at least I have a throttle that ramps up now.
I was going to try and work the top butterfly manually to isolate if it's the governor swing or the carburetor itself that is not letting me idle down.
I am going to tinker with this yet this afternoon. I still believe it was never set up right after it was worked on the last time ... about 40 some years ago.
