Hi, I believe 424 is similar to 434 and there are a couple of hand operated valves in front of the seat, one is a push and turn, this one controls the flow rate to the 3pt, the other is a turn in/out, the in position will shut off 3 pt and divert hydraulic pressure to remote outlet if installed, if no remote outlet, the hydraulic relief valve will squeal as there is no place for high pressure hydraulic oil to go. Make sure valves are in proper position. The other problem could be a clogged hydraulic suction filter in the hydraulic reservoir.
