I don't care what color the tractor is, they dont make these things anymore, and someday, when they are gone, they are gone forever.
These scrappers are dangerous to the old tractor hobby, especially since scrap is now profitable. the more scarce something is, it drives up used parts price.
I think we should pause and think about the big picture when we are tempted to scrap old machines for a few hundred bucks and shipped to India or china. Old farm machines are Americas heritage, and we are simply selling it to our enemies.
The model T ford was at one time common as dirt. thousands were destroyed because they were not considered worth anything. Now, it's difficult to find an unrestored example that's affordable.
I like the old tractor hobby, because it's not a terribly expensive hobby to get into. But if these scrappers keep pulling restoreable units out of the fencerow and destroying them, that could very well change.
