All you need to do is have your 6v generator rebuilt to 12v (the Reds suggestion), install a 12v regulator and mount it to the generator to keep it out of the weather, and buy a 12v battery. The old wiring was shot so I bought all new harnesses from Bermuda Ken. I polarized for positive ground.
