You can use a Bbastard file to hand file the sleeve top down to the needed .006" , or less, protrusion. You will be very surprised at how easy and how quick this process really is. Hold one end of the file in one hand, the other end in the other hand. Work the file across the top of the sleeve using a motion perpendicular to the block rather than a back and forth motion.
