if it was a ceramic resistor like the older chryslers had, leave it in there with the 12v battery. the early 12v conversions were done with a 12v generator out of a early 60"s general motors car or pickup. not a real accurate way to tell, but if the genny has a black delco remy tag, it is prolly a 6v genny. if it has a red delco tag, that was for a 12v genny. also, there are a couple resistors in the light box, one if a off dim bright switch 2 if it was a cut out relay with low high dim brite switch.
