I don't think there is a whole lot in common between the 240 and 340. 240 is next series after the C, SC, 200, and 230. The 340 had no predesesor. Bigger engine including a diesel, 5 spd or 5 spd w/ TA, IPTO... just a lot more tractor even though it wasn't much bigger.
