will need to set timing also. get timing marks lined up to spec's on front pulley. rotate mag opposite direction of rotation once rotor is pionting to #1so that when the points just start to open tighten her down. could put a piece of paper between pionts and as soon as you can pull it out thats the spot to tighten her down and you have it.mag on these turn counterclockwise.timing is 6 1/2 degrees ATDC.
