I have a Wd6 with a dead magneto I have the correct one to put on thats rebuilt how do I change it without messing anything up thanks appericate any help i can get

Remove the cap to see where the rotor points then point the rotor on the replacement the same and you have it.

will need to set timing also. get timing marks lined up to spec's on front pulley. rotate mag opposite direction of rotation once rotor is pionting to #1so that when the points just start to open tighten her down. could put a piece of paper between pionts and as soon as you can pull it out thats the spot to tighten her down and you have it.mag on these turn counterclockwise.timing is 6 1/2 degrees ATDC.
