My 1953/54 Super MTA sn 69659 is set up with negative ground. I suspect that it is original because of past history of the tractor, but I am not sure. The owners manual that I have indicates positive ground, however major portions of this manual are merely reprints of previous publications. Does anyone know for sure what year IH switched to negative ground? Also does a 6 volt voltage regulator have to be specific to positive or negative ground? Thank you Ellis Kinney
