Hi you might have solved a mystery for me! I have a photo in a book (somewhere! ) of a IH tractor refered to as a BMD but the engine is obviously a Perkins! Maybe it is a Perkins conversion on a Farmall M ? I will hunt for the picture, if I find it I will scan it and put it on here. The Only IH tractor I know of with a factory fitted Perkins was the 475, ( Perkins A4.212)which was built as a replacement for the 'lifeless' 474 with the D206. Unless you know of any others?
