I'm not real sure why everyone wastes their time putting an alt a 6 volt tractor. 1st it takes way too much though and work to mount and looks way out of place. I have 4 tractors converted to 12 volt by myself that still have the original gen and work perfectly even with aftermarket elec. acesseries. Here's your clue. A generator charges as much as it is told to. It WILL charge 6, 12, or 24 volts with no mods to the gen. its self.
