G'Day,
This may seem a little unusual but I have the back half of a Farmall A tractor which is built in to a houseboat as the gearbox and final drive.
The tractor wheels have had paddles attached and that’s how the boat is powered.
My question is: how can I find out what the actual gearbox ratios, differential ratio and final drive ratios are? I have an owners as well as a parts catalogue.
However, these do not show the actual gear ratios just the speed of the tractor in each gear or the overall ratio which I guess to be the combination of all the ratios. I am looking for the individual gear ratios.
If you can point me in the right direction I would be most grateful.
