I have my MD apart right now and it is a little scary how much the engine sags. All the people I talk to say that is the way to do it. I took the big bolts that bolt the halves together and put them through the rear support plate to help take the stress off the front of the motor. I am just not sure how everything will go back together with the pieces at different angles. Give me another month and I should have your answer!
